Centre for Public Health Nutrition Research

With a focus for research on food issues, nutrition and diet between medical, social, behavioural and biological scientists, this group is part of the Division of Medicine and Therapeutics, University of Dundee.

The Centre's main areas of expertise are:

  • Theory based, behaviourally focused intervention studies aimed at changing diet and other lifestyle factors
  • Dietary intake investigations in relation to measuring population changes, trends and impact of policy interventions
  • Interactions between environmental (diet) and genetic factors influencing food and nutrient intake and energy balance.
