Scottish Grocers Federation

The Scottish Grocers Federation (SGF) is the trade association for the Scottish convenience store sector, which is made up of over 5,600 stores with combined annual sales of more than £3.2bn.

The SGF works with government and the media to encourage a greater understanding of the contribution convenience retailers make to Scotland’s communities and aims to promote responsible community retailing.

The Scottish Grocers’ Federation healthyliving Programme, which launched as a pilot in 2004 and is in its thrird phase. Backed by Scottish Government funding, the programme’s aim is to improve the range, quality and availability of fruit and vegetables in convenience stores across the country.
