The eatwell week (S14048)

The FSA eatwell plate aims to make healthy eating easier to understand by showing the types and proportions of foods needed for a healthy and well-balanced diet.

The aim of this project is to design and test an eatwell week sample menu which will demonstrate to consumers and stakeholders how to create a balanced diet over one week. As well as applying the Agency’s eatwell advice, the eatwell week will also be based on current UK Dietary Reference Values. The final resource will be tested in lay and professional users.

This is an ongoing project. Estimated for publication Summer 2011.
