Community Food and Health (Scotland) has launched a food, health and homelessness capacity building fund.
They are offering funds between £3,000 and £10,000 - from a total of £50,000 - to organisations working with homeless people or those at risk of homelessness.
The fund is intended to be a practical financial boost for organisations wishing to develop food activities. These activities should promote the diet, health, general well-being and independent living skills of their service-users. The fund is now open to applications with a deadline of 5 October 2007 for stage one ideas. Please note that in view of the forthcoming postal strikes, the deadline has been extended to Friday 12 October 5pm. Please note that faxed applications will not be accepted.
