The Scottish Executive wants the food and health sector to be involved in a discussion about the priorities of health and wellbeing in Scotland.
The document Better Health, Better Care (PDF, 2.35Mb) outlines some of the plans that the Scottish Executive believe is necessary for meeting their strategic objective of helping people sustain and improve their health.
As a result, they would like those who work in the food and health sector to be involved in the discussion about these plans. This will help shape the Government's and NHSScotland's priorities over the next few years. Those who send comments must also return the Repsondent Information Form. This form is enclosed within the Better Health, Better Care PDF.
The deadline for receiving all comments is Monday 12 November. The Scottish Executive aim to review all comments and publish their action plan by the end of 2007.
