Picture Gallery 2008

Throughout the day, delegates were given an opportunity to comment through the use of a picture gallery, designed to act as a chronological journal. An entire wall was covered with cartoons that represented the national food policy and priorities for future actions in food and health.

Delegates were given post-it notes and asked to place their comments on the images, saying whether they agreed or disagreed with these stepping stones, thus providing an accessible and non-confrontational way of putting points forward.

A number of cartoons in the gallery represent some of the aspirations and challenges that can be faced with food and health work.
