The new National Library for Public Health is launched on the 28 April 2008. The launch is linked with National Knowledge Week (NKW). NKW is focusing on childhood obesity in terms of surveillance and preventative public health interventions. The NKW will identify the new evidence published since 2005. This will include strategies, guidance and research papers. There will also be a number of editorials written by experts, which will provide a snap shot summary of preventative interventions for childhood obesity and international surveillance activities.
