The Symposium will tackle the question of sustainability in the food supply chain and how our environmental impact can be minimised.
This sixth symposium is organised by the Scottish Food and Drink Federation, Institute of Food Science and Technology and The Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland.

- Scottish Public Health Network (ScotPHN) Obesity Research, Policy and Practice in Scotland - National meeting

ScotPHN proposes a two day event to facilitate exchange of information in the subject of tackling the obesogenic environment. The first day will focus on the wide range of research currently being undertaken by Scottish universities, with the second, on the work being undertaken by NHS Boards, local authorities and other local partner organisations to treat and prevent obesity.
On both days there will be a presentation on Scottish Government policy and planning related to obesity and healthy weight (Word, 1.5Mb).
