Following nine years of policy implementation of the Scottish Diet Action Plan (SDAP), Health Scotland conducted a review of the effectiveness and appropriateness of the implementation of the SDAP.
The purpose of the review is to draw together evidence of progress and achievements from a variety of sources and provide some over-arching observations, conclusions and recommendations for future food and health policy in Scotland.
The review will report to the Scottish Food and Health Council and feed into the development of future food and health policy in Scotland. It was conducted by an independent review panel with their report was published in 2006.
